A healthy slice of Lincolnshire life is served with every pint at the Lord Tennyson Public House. A growing favourite for tourists and those in the know, we are regarded as a local Lincoln Pub. Standing almost in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral this homely local pub is a must for tourists and locals alike.
Fairly priced local cuisine and a raft of real ales allow our regulars and guests the chance to soak up the uniqueness of local Lincolnshire character and flavour. Proper portions of food are the order of the day. Pleasant, humorous conversation and a relaxed atmosphere hide the heart of a great little pub. For we also boast 3 football teams, 2 pool teams, Cribbage and darts. Regular live music and cash quiz nights ensure the entire community join in, to make us the village pub, at the heart of the Cathedral City.
Perhaps our great poetic patron could muse, making masterpieces once again, in our garden. One for words, Tennyson perhaps coined his famous phrase "My strength is as the strength of ten, because my heart is pure" for such a homely place.
Welcome to the Lord Tennyson Lincoln
